Cusco - Zug nach Aguas Calientes soll bis 1. April wieder in Betrieb sein

Nachfolgend möchten wir Sie bezgl. der Reparaturarbeiten der Bahnstrecke zwischen Cusco und Aguas Calientes auf dem Laufenden halten. Bitte sehen Sie hierzu den Bericht unserer Partneragentur.

- Today, the minister of tourism, Martín Peréz, affirmed that if weather conditions keep being favourable, the access route from Piscacucho (km.82) –Aguas Calientes (km.110) will be opened as planned on April 1st, 2010, according to the information he received from FERTRANSA, the company responsible for the maintenance of the railway.

- According to Peru Rail information, as the access to km. 82 is a one-way road, the service will be subcontracted to Peru Rail, meaning that passengers will go in busses from Peru Rail to the train station, either from Ollantaytambo or Cuzco train station, according to the service booked.

We’re glad to communicate, that the railway from Puno to Cuzco is operative again, the deadline announced, 22nd of February, has been fulfilled and the train is running now in these new schedules:

Cuzco – Puno: 08:00/18:49
Puno – Cuzco: 08:30/19:00
